About Hinwa Sweet White Wine
Hinwa Sweet White is made from Aiselu (Himalayan raspberry), a wild fruit native to the hills of Nepal. Hinwa’s white wine is based on this indigenous berry, giving the wine its distinctive fruit character and connection to Nepal’s Himalayan landscape.
The wine has a golden off-white colour and an aromatic fruit profile, followed by a light, delicate and well-balanced aftertaste. The product is also noted to contain naturally occurring fruit residue.
Hinwa’s winemaking process begins with the harvesting of wild berries by members of local communities. The selected berries are crushed, pressed and naturally fermented before clarification, blending, refining and filtration.
